As the name suggests this deep blue coloured bracelet consists of Lapis Lazuli. Adorned with sparkling silver components and gorgeous, beautifully faceted Kyanite gems. The bracelet measures 19cm in total length. Please note size indicates stringing circumference, not inner circumference which is dictated by the size of the stones (hence fits 16-18 cm wrist).

LAPIS LAZULI-is a beautiful deep blue stone with gold-looking metallic flecks of pyrite. It has been known since ancient times, its name coming from a Persian word lazhward meaning blue. The word lapis is Latin meaning stone. In ancient times Lapis Lazuli was most highly regarded because of its beautiful colour and the valuable ultramarine dye derived from it. Egyptian cultures made a practice of burying a lapis lazuli scarab with their dead, and believed it to offer protection. The golden sarcophagus of King Tutankhamen was richly inlaid with Lapis, as were other burial ornaments of Egyptian kings and queens. It was also used extensively in pendants and other jewellery, and ground into powder for dyes, eye shadow and medicinal elixirs. Its deep, celestial blue remains the symbol of royalty and honour, gods and power, spirit and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth.

KYANITE - is a typically blue silicate mineral. Its name derived from Greek word kuanos meaning deep blue. A calming stone, said to helps to quiet the mind, dissolving emotional or spiritual confusion.
