There are two main varieties
1. Sea Amber which is washed up along certain shores, especially the Baltic Sea.
2. Pit Amber which has been mined in various places e.g. Burma and Mexico
CITRINE - is the clear yellow or golden yellow form of the mineral quartz. In Ancient times, citrine was revered as a gift of the Sun and believed to be a powerful antidote to a viper's venom. It is said to open mind to new thoughts and balance impatience and restlessness.
