CORAL - is an organic gemstone.(Most gemstones are formed from inorganic substances, but a number of gemstones are from organic sources, that is from living things, either plants or animal). Coral is the "skeleton" formed by the individual polyps, plant-like animals, which live in colonies under the ocean. Coral can be found all over the world, but the bulk of coral used in jewellery making has always come from the waters off Sardinia and the coast of Sicily, in Mediterranean. Coral beads have been found in Egyptian graves going back 4000BC.

AMBER – is one of the the organic gemstones, being the time-hardened fossilized resin of pine trees. As such it varies from about 20 to 60 million years old, it appears surprisingly light and warm to the touch and readily produces static electricity when rubbed. Amber is most usually similar colour to honey, varying from golden yellow, through rich orange and red to brown, but some can be white, dark brown almost black, blue or green. The are two main varieties 1. Sea Amber which is washed up along certain shores, especially the Baltic Sea. 2.Pit Amber which has been mined in various places e.g. Burma and Mexico.

TURQUOISE - is an opaque blue to greenish stone, hydrous phosphate of aluminium with Some copper and iron. Different colours of turquoise, varying from sky blue to nearly  green occur in untreated turquoise. Brown or gray streaks in turquoise are caused by The "matrix", or "mother stone", from which the gemstone is mined. Native Americans associated the colours of the stone with the blue sky and the green earth. The word turquoise was derived around 16th century from the French word turquie, for Iranian material which was early imported through Turkey. It is believed to attract money success and love. Its power includes protection, healing, courage, friendship and luck.

CRYSTAL - is a fine, high-quality glass invented in 17th century in England. In order to be considered crystal rather than simple glass, the product must contain at least 10% lead oxide. The lead oxide is attributed to providing the glass with extraordinary qualities of brilliance.
